February's " Hearts for Hunger "

February has long been known for it's relation to affairs of the heart, this year we have embraced it further by presenting our new community program titled "Hearts for Hunger".

This is an ongoing fundraiser to fight hunger in our community, in association with Spokane's own Generation Alive ,
we are sponsoring our fundraiser of framed handmade artistic expressions of the heart. These framed art works are created by local school children, art students, local artists and members of our community. Each piece is just $20. with 100% of the proceeds going to help feed the hungry locally.

This $20 donation has impressive impact.  At just .25cents per meal, each donation will provide 100 nutritional meals for a family in need.

We will have our Showcase Event on Friday February 21, 4-7 pm, so bring your family and friends by the gallery to support this worthy cause. Your $20 purchase of a framed handmade heart will go far in feeding the hungry in our own neighborhoods.

Food for thought, 1 in 5 people in Spokane County doesn't know where their next meal is coming from, so join us in helping out our neighbors. To learn more about  Generation Alive  click on this link to visit their website.
