Go Pink in October!

October brings focus to the battle against breast cancer. This cause is very close to our hearts here at the gallery, as the owner Holly Swanson is now a 5 year survivor of IBC, inflammatory breast cancer.
At the gallery we stand stand up to cancer and encourage our friends, clients and followers to join us in our efforts to shine a light on Surviving and Recovery from breast cancer and support those who are.

This month we are featuring the art of local artist Candy Thomen. Candy is a talented artist who's work has been described as motivational, spiritual and healing inspired. You may have seen her work in past years as the designs for the local Susan G. Komen Fundraiser "Pitch for the Cure" T-Shirt. Prints from this image will be available for sale -with the proceeds going to the local Susan G Komen chapter.

Stop by and meet Candy and see her art at our Meet and Greet on Thursday Oct. 23, from 5pm to 7pm. This artist meet and greet will be in conjunction with our "Girls night out with Beyond Pink" presented by Spokane's Metro Women Magazine.
Beyond Pink is a local non-profit company promoting early detection through thermography.
There will be many locally owned businesses joining us here at the gallery for this event. We will have many door prizes including an original painting by Candy. This is going to be a fun evening. We hope that you and your friends will join us.
